You will be guided through a practice of Yoga Nidra, systematically led towards complete mental, physical, and emotional relaxation. Through this process, the subtle energy channels are revitalized. Yoga Nidra meditation is sometimes called Beyond the Dreams, Deep Deep Sleep, or The Ocean of Emptiness. It is helpful for stress reduction, insomnia, fatigue, depression, anxiety and general well-being. This practice can be done seated or lying down, and you will be lead towards the "place" where there is only a deep abiding stillness that is rich with awareness, a space of inspiration, intuition, and compassionate loving kindness. Class will begin with some gentle soothing stretches and then you will move into your resting position, on your back or however you feel most comfortable. Have a few blankets and pillows available to be super comfy.
